Your name, your mobile number, your email address if you give one, and the trade and ZIP code of your project. On the free path we text you a confirmation code; the code exists so a real person, not a script, is making the request.
You can sign in with Google, an email link, or a code texted to your mobile number. If you use Google, Google sends us your name, email address and profile photo, and confirms that the email is verified. We use sign-in details to save your reports, show quote replies, and keep your account secure. A contractor account also stores the Florida license number it is connected to, its job requests, and its credit activity.
When you ask for quotes, a contractor from your report can see the kind of job, the ZIP code, your answers about the job, your one-line description and any photos you add. They do not see your name, phone number, email address or street address. Those contact details are sent only to a contractor you reply to and pick by name, after you tick the consent box.
Your report is free. Your details go to a contractor only if you ask for quotes, see which contractors from your report want your job, pick them by name, and tick the box agreeing to be contacted. The box is never ticked for you. We keep a record of what you agreed to, the names you picked, the time, and your IP address and browser. Contractors you pick may call or text you about your project; reply STOP to opt out. In some areas, you can instead pay $9 to keep your details private.
If you pay the $9 fee, your details are never shared with any contractor. Insurance-claim reports are available only as the $9 private report, and those details are never shared either. There are no exceptions to either rule.
Details from requests that were never shared are deleted within 90 days. Where details were shared with your consent, we keep a record of that consent — what you agreed to, and when — so we can prove the sharing was your choice.
Reports are built from public permit records. The business names and license numbers in a report come from those public filings. Homeowner names and property addresses from permit records are not published on this site.
The report and account pages use only the cookies needed for the site to function, including a sign-in cookie when you use an account. There is no advertising tracker on the report flow.
