A Radar report is a compilation of public permit records for one trade near one ZIP code over the last 12 months, organized by the company that filed each permit. Records come from Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami as published. Filings can be delayed, corrected, or missing, and job values are the values declared by the filer. A report is a research aid for your own project — it is not a background check, a review, or a recommendation.
Radar does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any company in a report, and a company's presence or ranking is never sold. Ranking reflects permit counts only. Always check a contractor's Florida license and references before hiring.
Asking for quotes, picking contractors by name and ticking the consent box is your written consent for Radar to send the contractors you picked your name, phone number and project details, and for those contractors to call or text you about your project, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of getting a report. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to any message to opt out with that sender. Radar may charge contractors when you pick them; that never affects who appears in your report or in what order.
Where offered, the private report costs $9, charged once through Stripe. The report is delivered in full as soon as payment completes, so the fee is not refundable. If a payment completes and your report does not open, email support@radar.construction and we will fix it or refund you.
You may use Radar without an account, but an account saves reports and quote replies in one place. Keep your email inbox, mobile phone and private Radar links under your control; activity through them is treated as yours. A contractor account may be connected to one Florida license number. Tell us at support@radar.construction if you believe an account or company connection is wrong.
Contractors see job details before homeowner contact details. When a contractor asks to contact a homeowner, one available credit is held. The held credit is used only if the homeowner replies and picks that contractor. If the homeowner picks someone else, picks nobody, or does not reply within 14 days, the hold is released. A first introduction, or an introduction during a stated founding period, may be free instead. One-time credit packs do not expire. A monthly plan, when offered at checkout, adds the stated number of credits for each paid monthly period and renews until cancelled through Stripe. Buying credits never changes a contractor's report ranking.
Reports are for your personal project research. Do not scrape the site, copy reports for resale, or submit requests with someone else's details. Contractors listed in reports who believe a record is wrong can email us and we will check it against the public filing.
